Refund policy

What’s your return policy?

We 100% stand behind the quality of all the gear we carry. If you're not satisfied with your Tripshed purchase, you can almost always bring it back for an exchange, refund, repair, or credit depending on circumstance.

We also stand behind our advice. If we recommend the wrong product, also feel free to bring it back.

If you'd like to make a return because you're just not satisfied with the product, it needs to be clean, function like new, and in resalable condition. Returns can be made made up to 30 days from the date of purchase. Unless the return is for warranty reasons, you’ll need to pay for return shipping.

How do I make a return or exchange?

Click the link here to get the process started. If you have any questions, contact us at info@thetripshed.ca and we'll be happy to help. We don’t accept exchanges by mail, but you can buy a replacement item online (or by phone) and return the original item by mail.

The Circumstance

  • The Trip Shed return policy doesn't cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident. Left some food open in a pack overnight and the critters chewed through it? We'll commiserate, but unfortunately not refund.
  • Final Sale items are ... final sale and also won't be refunded or exchanged.
  • Fuel, food, and drinks are final sale.

Can I get a refund to a different credit card?

No, we can refund the same credit card that was used for the purchase, or refund to a gift card.

I received something as a gift that I don’t want. Can I get a refund?

We can only issue a refund to the person who made the purchase. As the recipient, you can either exchange the item or receive the purchase value on a gift card.
